Jordan Yankovich, NCIDQ
Owner-Principal
Jordan began KovichCo with a vision of a client-oriented firm that creates exceptional, expressive, customized, and art-driven spaces. In her role as principal, Jordan leads with her artistic eye and curious nature, and approaches every project with a design philosophy of “seek first to understand, and then design.”
With an insatiable appetite for inspiration, beauty, and history, Jordan loves to travel, read, and discover. She brings these elements to life in her projects in myriad ways: from designing and overseeing custom furniture and lighting to hand-selecting works of art and antiques from around the world. Collector or hoarder, only time will tell.
Jordan holds two bachelor’s degrees from the Art Institute of Colorado and Northwest Nazarene University. She is an NCIDQ-certified interior designer, a LEED Green Associate, a member of the American Society of Interior designers (ASID) and of the International Interior Designer Association (IIDA). In 2016, she was honored with a Tribute to Women in Industry (TWIN) by the Women’s and Children’s Alliance. For numerous years Jordan was the Chairperson of the Nampa Arts and Historic Preservation Commission.
Tara Garrett NCIDQ
Senior Interior Designer
Tara holds a BFA in Interior Design and a Minor in Architecture from University of Idaho. Before joining KovichCo, Tara honed her expertise in hospitality interior design including branded hotels and restaurants among other commercial projects. Since joining KovichCo in 2017, she has left her design signature on almost every project. Her work across all project types has garnered numerous awards.
Beneath her thoughtful, serene demeanor is a powerhouse of design skills and experience. From start through completion, she brings her careful attention-to-detail, commitment to project vision, and deft problem solving skills to every project she works on. Tara’s favorite part of the design process is Space Planning, and believe us: layouts are putty in her hands. When not designing, Tara can be found paddleboarding or rockhounding.
